Milan prepares 200 million for Cristiano Ronaldo

Berlusconi has never hidden that his dream is to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, but this time seems to have found the necessary financial support to try to fulfill his desires. As the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport said yesterday, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, from Dubai, wants to acquire 25% of Milan. His arrival would be an injection of 200 million euros to the 'rossoneri' club coffers. And most of that amount would be aimed at signing Cristiano Ronaldo. The player's salary would be around 20 million euros and he would become the highest paid footballer in the world.

It is not the first time that Cristiano Ronaldo has been tempted with a great deal. Last year Manchester City owner, Sheikh Mansour, was willing to pay 180 million euros for his transfer. From the Bernabeu merely stated that Cristiano is not transferable. Hence the anti-sheikhs buyout clause: 1,000 million euros. This time, Berlusconi's desires clash head again with the plans of Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo himself, who is happy in Madrid and is intended to stay in the Spanish league because his obsession is to win the European Cup in white.

The good performance shown by Cristiano since his arrival in Spain has meant that Real Madrid is studying the improvement of his contract, which would be accompanied by an expansion of it in four years. Thus, the Portuguese striker will be linked to the white team until 2019. This means that Cristiano Ronaldo would play the rest of his career as white player.

Cristiano Ronaldo: "This is the best time in my life"

In a Cristiano Ronaldo's interview with the Spanish media, the most decisive player in the league appears relaxed, serene. As always, he does not avoid any sensitive issue for it. He is happy remembering the party at Cibeles, and speaking of the future. One hundred percent white and radiant.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Again, your season can only be described as incredible: with 60 goals in 55 games have improved your previous course records. So next season ... Bigger and better?
I guarantee I will try to improve on this year's numbers. I may not be able to score more goals, but I can serve more assists. It's harder each time, but I always try to do better. Usain Bolt ran 100 meters in 9.58 seconds and it will be practically impossible for him to do better than that, but I am sure he will try.

What else can you do to win the Balon d’Or?
I am not too concerned about the Ballon d'Or because the most important thing for me was to win La Liga, which is a difficult title, if not the toughest in Europe. I do not vote for the Ballon d'Or and everyone has different tastes. Several Real Madrid players and myself did enough to deserve a nomination and I cannot hide my desire to win it because it is the greatest accolade a player can win on an individual level.

Are you better than Barcelona?
We have changed our run with Barcelona and I am sure it will be much better form now on. We players are more confident and we have more faith in the team. It is very demanding to compete with Barcelona and we nevertheless won with a nine-point lead over them and defeated them at the Camp Nou. We had an exceptional season both individually and collectively.

Mourinho is continuing until 2016…
A club like this has to have a top coach like Mourinho. He has to be here. I think it is evident Real Madrid would not win as many titles without him.

What about your contract renewal?
If it were totally up to me, I would end my career at Real Madrid, honestly. I would sign a ten year extension right now. I want to stay, but that decision is really up to other people.

Let's talk about the Real Madrid fans. Some people have critized you at the Bernabeu and the rest remained silent. They were hard times for you. What did you think and how you overcome it?
I can not agree, but I respect it. Everybody is free and we must be strong and looking for the best to respond them. You can always keep improving. From what I know of the history of Real Madrid, that also happened to Zidane, Ronaldo ... And they are in the history of Real Madrid. So I am quiet. Now they are all with me, thank God the recognize my worth and that's why I am so happy.

Yes, you look happy ...
This is the best time in my life, both physically and psychologically. I want to keep it up and enjoy myself much more with Real Madrid fans because my connection with them has evolved considerably in recent months. I feel very close to them and that's why I want to stay here a long time. I want to show my love for this shirt and do my best for the team.

You look very close to Fabio Coentrao. Do the fans at the Bernabeu have been fair to him?
No, it was a bit unfair. Now Fabio, with the quality he has and the person he is, must show the top player he is. The first year is always the hardest, but he is one of the best defenders in the world. The good players always end up succeeding.

Another friend, Kaka, is not passing through his best.
He has to decide what is best for his future and his family. I can not give my opinion about a player, who is also my friend. I think he has much to offer to Real Madrid and I am sure that will continue long here.

Cristiano Ronaldo phoned Marcelo: "I believe you, my friend"

News agencies were on fire on Monday afternoon with a phrase attributed to Marcelo, that triggered a tsunami in social networks: "Messi is the best in the world". The issue was not clear not only because Marcelo is teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo in Real Madrid, but because it is known that both maintain personal friendship. The phrase appeared in the Brazilian media after an interview with the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation), but curiously there is no evidence videographic. Only what was written.

Marcelo was very angry to know the phrases that were put into his mouth. In fact, in his Twitter account responded within hours: "They have misinterpreted what I said. Messi was the last to receive the Golden Ball, but for me, no doubt, the best is Cristiano and they will not ruin my friendship with him".

As has been published in Spanish media, Cristiano Ronaldo phoned the Brazilian player in the early hours of Tuesday. Marcelo was summoned with the Brazil team in New Jersey, where on Saturday will be played the game Brazil vs Argentina. The party is of a friendly nature and will be played from 9:00 pm (local time). Cristiano talked to him: "Marcelo, quiet. I believe you, my friend. It is not important. We are friends and we will not waste another minute".

Marcelo was comforted by the words of Cristiano, who is not affected by the permanent fight with Messi. In the last year has learned to manage better the issue so he decided to tackle it himself. Marcelo and his environment also left yesterday clear that his statements about Cristiano Ronaldo are in an interview that a few days ago gave to the Brazilian Football Confederation.

Cristiano Ronaldo: "I think I am better than Messi"

The Portuguese player gave two interviews on CNN and Sky Sports. He reviewed the season and his rivalry with Messi and Barcelona. This is an extract from both interviews.

Cristiano Ronaldo during an interview
Cristiano Ronaldo

What has been your best moment of the season?
Winning the title with Real Madrid. This is the first time I have won the league and I was very happy because it was my best time here in Madrid, the most important trophy. In individual terms, the year was good for me, for the goals I scored, breaking my previous record. And for the team to make 100 points in the league is another record. It was outstanding. I think it will be difficult to make a better season than this. For me, this is the hardest league in the world. Competing with Barcelona, as everyone knows, is very complicated and we have achieved a nine points gap at the end. It was an incredible year.

People always say that Barcelona play the best football in the world. Do you think that Real Madrid played better than them?
The points speak for themselves, nine points have separated Real Madrid and Barcelona. Many here in Spain. We played better than them this year, I am sure. I remember we won there last month 1-2. Nobody can do that, it is very difficult, so we deserve to win the league. We are better than them right now, but we respect them because they are also a great team.

Tell me about Mourinho as a person and as a manager.
As a person, is a humble and simple. He jokes all the time. He is good. As a coach, is completely different. He is serious and very professional. That's why he won the titles he has won. For me is the best, not only because I work with him, but for what he does: the tactics, all about the players, motivation. He has won in all countries where he was. I think he is great. The best coach in the world manages me and I am surrounded by great players.

Do you see yourself finishing your career in Madrid?
I am very happy here, this is a fantastic club with the best fans, but nobody knows the future. I feel happy, but who knows in a year or two. The head of a man is complicated, but for now I am happy.

Are you tired with the comparision with Messi all the time?
Sometimes I feel tired. For him also because people compare us all the time. You can not compare a Ferrari to a Porsche because the engine is different. They can not be compared. He does his best for Barcelona and I do my best for Real Madrid. People talk about the numbers and they all say they are amazing. They talk about him and me because we beat our records. It's amazing. I think we pushed ourselves in competition. It is for this reason that the level of the Spanish League is so high. That's why Madrid and Barcelona are the two best teams in the world, because one requires the other.

Were you better than him this season?
It is not about who did it better. I hate to be compared with anyone. Some people say I am better, others say he is, but at the end of the year people will decide who is the best right now. And I think it's me (laughs).

What team do you think will win the Champions League?
It is difficult. Maybe people think that Bayern will win easy. I think not. Do not forget that Chelsea knocked Barcelona, which is very, very difficult. It will be an interesting match.

Do you feel sorry for the penalty you missed against Bayern?
It is always difficult when you lose something, when you lose on penalties. But I am not worried about that because if I had not scored twice there had been no penalties. I have to appreciate what I did in the Champions League and what I did for the club. But to be honest, it was one of the worst days in my career.

Mourinho's top three players of the 2011-2012 season

Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Sergio Ramos. For Mourinho, they are the top three players have finished the season in best form. And in this line the manager and coach of Real Madrid wants to continue with reinforcements. Footballers who do not lose power to endure eight months to a high pace and playing every game at full intensity.

When the Portuguese coach was asked last Saturday at the press conference before playing against Mallorca, in which appeared with his sporty family (Rui Faria, Karanka, Silvino Louro and Morais), his evaluation of the season, his response after stopping to think a few seconds, was: "9". He then was asked by the players and said: "10 to some". That 'some' was emphasized or underlined in his intonation to make clear that, despite being a positive season, not everything has gone well.

The level of demand required for Mourinho to all players is fundamental to win titles and only thus can be explained that this Real Madrid has managed to win the league with 100 points and breaking records as the 32 victories in the championship or the 121 goals. It's time to give a scientific explanation and for that, Mourinho and his team are evaluating the real and objetive figures of each player. Are the notes of the season. There are some players who have held up better than others the highly competitive effort it takes to be champion.

Pepe, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates a goal
Pepe, Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo

The top three players in the squad are Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Sergio Ramos. They are the field players have played more minutes and have suffered less wear. Their capacity to resist has led them to achieve the 10 note for Mourinho. The explanation lies in their physical and in the disciplined daily work that has been done since the start of pre-season in July until the present day. They have not been neglected. They have undergone a comprehensive fitness plan, specific work in the gym, diet and rest, which has made them overcome any downturn and injury.

Cristiano Ronaldo has played 53 games in all competitions, with a total of 4,910 minutes. Is estimated he has surpassed the barrier of 500 kilometers, calculating a minimum average of 10 kilometers per game. His figures are almost similar to last season. He played 55 games, with 5,090 minutes.

Pepe is a player who has improved a lot. This season has overcome the numbers in games played: 45 by 32 of the past season. But what is celebrated is that he has not suffered the injuries of past years. He has taken a qualitative leap in their physical condition.

Just as Sergio Ramos, a physical prodigy with an insatiable mindset to compete and play even though this season has played with back problems. He has played 51 games, with 4,665 minutes, while last season he played 46 games.

And Mourinho thinks that now is the time to take another step. The game against Bayern Munich was a warning. The Germans dominated the match at the Bernabeu and won in individual duels what was key to the team could not take advantage of the 2-0 after the first 15 minutes. The last effort to reach the final of the Champions League could not be performed, forces failed at the most important and crucial moment of the season.

And all this serves to analyze which positions must be strengthened in the forthcoming season, which players need a replacement, what demarcations are most vulnerable and where the team can grow.

Mourinho: "Cristiano deserves to win this year's Ballon d'Or"

Jose Mourinho attended a press conference at Kuwait's Regency Hotel before the tomorrow's friendly match that will face the Real Madrid and the Kuwait national team.

Mourinho in a press conference in Kuwait
Jose Mourinho attending the press conference

What is the objective of Real Madrid in this match?
"This is the first time we visit this country and we do it with curiosity, as if going for the first time to an unknown country. But we are not here as tourists. We are here to play and we will try to win the match. We know it is a friendly match, but Real Madrid always has to elevate its prestige as much as possible. That is why we have travelled with all the team. Everyone will play tomorrow to honour their names and the prestige of Real Madrid. They are a little tired because of the tough season we had and there are players already thinking about the Euro, but everyone is in good form".

Will all the players play?
"We have respect for Kuwait's national team and all the players will play. That is the sign of greater respect but people should realise we just celebrated winning the Spanish league title, we had a seven hour flight and we have hardly trained for this. It is important no injuries tomorrow because many of my men are already thinking about the Euro. We will intend to play a good game and we willl try to win".

What is the main contribution of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid?
"We have won the championship thanks to all the players on the squad, but Cristiano Ronaldo is special because he scores goals in all sorts of ways and in every position. He and Messi are above the rest and, if there is justice in football, Cristiano will win the Ballon d'Or this year".

What about the role of Coentrao, which has been the past season most expensive signing?
"He had some problems of valuation, but not for me or peers, but to the press".

Why have you chosen this date to play in Kuwait?
"Real Madrid wanted to play in Kuwait and has been waiting the opportunity. It would have been difficult to do in the preseason due to short holidays and the weather. My players would have liked to be on holiday now, but they have responded well to this venture for the prestige of Real Madrid. We are here to play a good match".

How would you describe the league title you just won?
"This league title was more complicated than the seven that I won, because we had a rival who is recognized as the best in recent times. It was a titanic struggle between the two best teams in the world".

Will you train today?
It will be in the pool.

Cristiano Ronaldo's target: Five goals against Mallorca

Messi did not score yesterday against Betis and finished the season with 50 goals, so Cristiano Ronaldo needs to make his best tonight and score five goals if he wants to win again this year the trophy for top scorer in the Spanish championship. A feat and an almost impossible mission, but we can not forget that the Portuguese star is involved and everything can happen.

Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi

Cristiano has scored 45 goals this season, a historical figure that has remained, for the moment, in the background because of Leo Messi, who has reached the stratospheric figure of 50 goals with a great sprint finish. But the Argentinian did not play a great match yesterday and CR7 is going to try to exploit his options until the end. With the help of the Bernabeu supporters, who wants him as top scorer, he will go all out against Mallorca.

The last Real Madrid player who scored five goals in a league match was Fernando Morientes. He got it in the 2001-2002 season against Las Palmas, in a match that finished 7-1 and in which the white forward even came to fail a penalty. Before 'Moro', five players had scored five goals or more in a match: Puskas, Pepillo, Munoz, Alsua and Alday, who scored six in the 1942-43 season.

Achieving or not achieving the target, and therefore the top scorer trophy (Pichichi and Golden Boot), Cristiano Ronaldo can become tonight at the first player in league history to score in a season against all teams in the league. He just lacks a goal facing Mallorca, against which he did not score in the first leg. On the other hand, Cristiano will be tonight one of the stars of the party at the Bernabeu stadium. The club wants to recognize his great season.

All with Cristiano Ronaldo for the Golden Boot

With the league title in his pocket Cristiano Ronaldo, with 44 goals, looks for his third Golden Boot in a fierce battle with Messi, 46 goals. The Portuguese showed in the Classic his best form, but today in Los Carmenes wants to show authority with more goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo with the golden boot at the Bernabeu stadium
Cristiano Ronaldo; Golden Boot 2010-2011

All with Cristiano Ronaldo. That is the mentality of Real Madrid today in Los Carmenes (against Granada). Having won the League, the target is to help the Portuguese to win the battle of numbers with Messi. The Argentinian has scored 46 goals in the league and last weekend went ahead of Portuguese (44 goals) in the top scorer and Golden Boot list.

"There are two players unique, but this year Cristiano has been the best by a long distance" , said Mourinho. A different approach of Guardiola's, that without the championship of the Spanish league seems to conform with individual awards for his players (as example the substitution of Valdes in the last games to win the Zamora trophy). "What Leo Messi has made this year is incredible. He has done things to deserve it, that is clear" he said this week.

Cristiano and Messi have gotten seven hat-tricks this season, something that never happened in the history of the Spanish league. The 'Flea' has made seven doubles and the Portuguese, five. CR7 has scored 11 goals from the penalty spot (missed one) and the Argentinian, eight (missed other). Both forwards have also achieved the same number of goals which have lead to victory for their teams, three.

If the top scorer trophy is Cristiano's personal aspiration backed by the group, the target of one hundred points is a collective task that would put a medal on Mourinho, surely unrepeatable.

Real Madrid continues to break records

Real Madrid has added dizzying numbers with three games remaining of the season. With the three goals scored against Sevilla, white team has 112 goals (Spanish League) and threatens to make forget that record of 107 goals by Toshack's team (already beaten). Furthermore, adds 165 goals in all competitions, which also exceeds the 158 goals of the season 59-60, the best scoring season of the Real Madrid until now.

Critsiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Higain

Certainly, there is to lay the blame on Cristiano Ronaldo who has scored 57 goals in total and 43 only in the league. The Portuguese is shattering his own record set last year and put two goals in advantage to Messi in the fight for the top scorer. Although we must not forget Benzema and Higuain on the offensive side.

The trident formed by the the Portuguese, the French and the Argentinian, has managed 84 goals of the 112 of the team. Cristiano is the top scorer with 43 goals, while Higuain has scored 21 and Benzema 20. This is the first time you can see three players on the same team in the top scorers table in the Spanish League with 20 or more goals.

Finally, if Real Madrid gets the nine points of the three matches remaining in the league, could break the record of 99 points that holds the FC Barcelona. Until now leads the table with 91 and it could be the first time in the Spanish League that a team gets a hundred points or more. A new record. Another one.

Cristiano Ronaldo: "I hope our fans score the first goal"

Cristiano Ronaldo said in an interview on the website of 'Bwin' that he hopes that the Santiago Bernabeu stadium crowd will be key to the match against Bayern: "I expect the Bernabeu to score the first goal. The crowd has to play the most important role as soon as we step onto the pitch because we can feel it. Things will go well if we stand united. It will be the most important match until now and all the players are more confident when we feel the support of our fans. We feel we can play even better".

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Real Madrid striker realises the difficulty of the match against German team: "The match will be a battle to the end. It will be charged with adrenaline and we are excited about playing a clash we know we have to win. Bayern is also a great team and we are aware they will be a tough opponent. We lost 2-1 against them in the first leg and we have to win at home. We know winning would give us a ticket to the Champions League final".

For Cristiano, the Özil's goal is worth its weight in gold: "What happened in Munchen was neither positive nor negative. We are in good phisical condition and I am sure we will win at the Bernabeu stadium because we will have the support of our fans. It will be a difficult match but I am hopeful. They defeated us at their stadium, but we were able to score an away goal. They will try to score in counterattacks, but we believe they will also be wary of us because we will face them at our stadium".

The Portuguese gave names to the dangers of Bavarian team: "We are more concerned about Bayern's forwards. Gomez is one of the Champions League's top scorers, and Ribery and Robben are also very dangerous. They are solid in attack and also in defence, but we have to focus on their three forwards because one of them will make the difference", he said.

What teams will play the final of the Champions League?: "I mainly want us to reach the final and face either Chelsea or Barcelona there. I hope we reach the final because it is ivery important to us, to Real Madrid and to our fans all around the world. That is why I am really happy and thrilled to play the match".

About his future, Cristiano does not hesitate: "I feel at home at Real Madrid. This is my third season on the team and I try to do my best for this shirt every year. Things are going well and I want to stay here".

Finally, he said that prepares every game in the same way: "I always play the same regardless of the opponents teams. There may be more adrenaline at times depending on the difficulty of a match, but my mentality is always the same".

Cristiano Ronaldo is winning the battle for the Golden Ball

There was a time when Cristiano had to endure the disgrace that he was hidden in the matches against FC Barcelona. In his first six games as Real Madrid he did not score in the Classics. Today the story is quite different after his goal in the Nou Camp, with which Real Madrid is almost the winner of the Spanish league. The Portuguese has three consecutive Classics scoring and Messi has accumulated four without trophy. Cristiano is ahead of Messi in the battle for the FIFA Golden Ball 2012. He claimed his figure in hostile territory on a world stage, with 400 million people watching him on television.

Cristiano after scoring at Camp Nou
Cristiano Ronaldo: 42 goals in Spanish league

It was not a good night for the winner of the last three Golden Balls (Messi did not shot on target), and Cristiano already said it in his historic celebration: "Today, calm". The Portuguese star has reached 42 goals in La Liga and Messi is 41. Ronaldo entered at the Real Madrid players' club that have scored in three consecutive Classic with Gento, Puskas and Juanito. And he has scored 6 goals in 13 games against Barca. A year ago he scored another memorable goal against FC Barcelona team in the final of the Spanish Cup. The Flea, meanwhile, has 13 goals in 19 Classics.

Now lies ahead for both the semifinal round of the Champions. Their paths can cross again in Munchen in the final. But Barca has problems with the dependence on Messi, which has played two key games without scoring (Chelsea and Real Madrid). Real Madrid wins in 61.1% of the games when Cristiano does not score. With no goal by Messi, Barca wins only 40% of games. On the other hand, the battle for the Golden Boot will be decided in Spain again, as in the past three seasons (Cristiano, Messi and Forlan). This time, the Portuguese will want to beat, in the next four games, the scoring record in Europe, achieved by Georgescu in the 76-77 season with 47 goals.

Cristiano and Messi play tomorrow their own Classic

The canyon Cristiano Ronaldo has in his right leg against the devilish dribbling of Messi. Real Madrid and Barcelona will play tomorrow the most important match to win the Spanish League but the world will also attend the particular fight between the two biggest stars on the planet. With over 400 million of estimated audience, what the Portuguese and the Argentinian are going to do, will have weight in the votes for the Golden Ball and also for the Golden Boot, for which they are tied with 41 goals in 'La Liga'.

Cristiano Ronaldo shows his right left after score a goal

Cristiano and Messi are making history. The Real Madrid player collects 53 goals (all competitions) in 49 games. He scored one every 81 minutes. The FC Barcelona player has got 63 goals in 53 games (he also played the European Super Cup and World Club) and scored every 72 minutes. Two pathways of science fiction.

The statistics make it clear that Barcelona's reliance on Messi is superior to White's dependence on Cristiano Ronaldo. Especially in the league. Without the goals of 'The Flea', Barcelona would have 19 points less. Without Cristiano, we would have to subtract to Real Madrid 13 points. Therefore, if we 'eliminate' the two giants, Real Madrid would go to the 10-point lead.

Also, if Cristiano misses the goal, Real Madrid does not suffer as much as FC Barcelona when Messi does not score. The Madrid wins in 61.1% of the games when you his star does not score. If Messi is 'dry', Barca won only 40%. It happened in key games when Messi's team suffered a drain of points: ties against Real Sociedad, Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal and Espanyol, with defeats against Getafe and Osasuna.

Cristiano Ronaldo offers a good omen for tomorrow because he is almost so reliable out and in the Bernabeu Stadium. Of his 53 goals, 26 were playing away (49%). Messi is less predator as visitor with 20 goals, six fewer than Cristiano. 'The Flea' overwhelms at the Camp Nou, with 66.2% of his targets. FC Barcelona's dependence on Messi is not just goals. Also with 25 assists (the most of the team). Cristiano, very supportive, also has 14 assists.

Forbes Magazine: Real Madrid is the third most valued brand

Forbes magazine, one of the most prestigious in the U.S. founded in 1917 by financial journalist B. C. Forbes has released a report on the valuation of brands in the field of sport. Real Madrid is the third most valued brand in the world in terms of team is concerned, and Cristiano Ronaldo is the ninth most valuable athlete on the planet.

Real Madrid is the third most valued brand in the world
Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid, a perfect match

Forbes valued the Real Madrid brand in 264 million dollars (199 million euros), behind only Manchester United (203 million euros) and the New York Yankees (256 million euros). FC Barcelona is the seventh in the list and its value is 129 million. In the ranking of the top ten there are six teams in European football (Manchester, Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona, Arsenal and Milan).

According to the magazine explains in its report, the final value is obtained by adding the revenues that have nothing to do with the money from the Spanish League or the Champions League and the result is multiplied by four to give 264 million dollars of third place.

A few days ago the same magazine released the most valuable teams professionally. Manchester United is the first and has priced in 1,864 million dollars (1,406 million euros). In this list Real Madrid is also over Barcelona. It is assessed in fifth place and 1,451 million dollars (1,094 million euros). Barcelona is far from the top and appears on the 26th position with a valuation of 975 million dollars (735 million euros).

In the list of athletes, Cristiano Ronaldo is the ninth most valuable to Forbes magazine. Is the second football player just behind Beckham who despite being at the end of his career, preserved almost intact his value. The English player is valued around 15 million euros, while Portuguese is 7. The funny thing is that Messi, current Ballon d'Or, does not appear among the best. Tiger Woods retained the number one, while Roger Federer is the second.

Cristiano Ronaldo costs more than the entire Levante

The Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo, costs more than the entire squad of Levante, a team to which will face Sunday in the City of Valencia Stadium in a duel of disparate figure. At a time when people analyze the economic and sports differences between clubs, it is clear that Levante and Real Madrid are one example of that distance.

Ten differences between Levante and Real Madrid:

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo, the most important player of the white team costs to his club between 12 and 13 million euros per season, what represents 50% more than the 8 million euros for the entire workforce of Levante.
  2. Real Madrid's budget, estimated at slightly more than 500 million euros, is more than 20 times that Levante's, which faces this season with 23 million budgeted.
  3. Real Madrid has 96,000 members (70,000 have pass to see the matches at the stadium), while Levante, that last week celebrated its first 102 years of existence, reached the 10,000 subscribers for the year 2011-2012.
  4. The Madrid club accumulates 73 national and international titles, including nine European Cups, while Levante has its success in its promotions to First Division and claims a Cup title earned during the Spanish Civil War.
  5. The distribution of television rights places both clubs at the edges of the First Spanish Division, as compared with 140 million euros with which Real Madrid is paid, Levante has a guaranteed income of 12 million.
  6. Although these amounts, as noted by the President of Levante, Quico Catalan, have a different weight in each club. For Levante are close to 60% of their income, while for Real are around 30%.
  7. While Levante has few international players, the latter has been the attacker Valdo, player of Cape Verde, Real Madrid faced their last league match against Getafe, with the thirteen international players of the fourteen that played in the match. Only Esteban Granero, who played a minute, has not played for a national team (Spain).
  8. Nevertheless, Real Madrid visited twice City of Valencia stadium last season and failed to score in 180 minutes. In the League (0-0) and in Copa del Rey lost (2-0) after beating shortly before in the first leg in Madrid by 7-0.
  9. In the six League visits to Valencia, Real Madrid has always won except last year with the goalless draw. In these matches Real Madrid has scored ten goals and has only received one. UEFA could punish Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is haunted by the problems. The Portugal international player finished the Champions League match against Dynamo Zagreb lame after his right ankle was stitched into the locker room. The Real Madrid player ended up very angry and after the match did not hesitate to criticize the match's referee. That fact could be punished by the UEFA.

Less than a month ago, Arsene Wenger was suspended two matches by a statement similar to the Cristiano Ronaldo made this Wednesday night in Zagreb: "It is important to have a good start in the Champions League. We are very happy with three points we took, but I am not so satisfied with the refereeing. I hope we never have this referee again. People talk of fair-play, of protecting good players, but I never get any of that. I don't understand a thing. I'm sad because I hear referees saying they will protect skilful players, but while some are untouchable it seems I can be mauled".

Furthermore, when was asked about the continuous whistles and insults suffered during the match, tried to explain: "I guess they boo me for being rich, handsome, being a great player... People are jealous of me. There is no other explanation".

Cristiano reconciles Carvalho and Pepe

Cristiano Ronaldo was the architect of reconciliation between Carvalho and Pepe. He wanted the bad vibes and the controversy could finalize yesterday. The seven, captain of Portugal and one of the heavyweights of Real Madrid, walked among his countrymen toward the three Valdebebas field. In public, with cameras present, he got together with his two companions and led to a hug with the defenders that sealed a final peace.

The striker grabbed Pepe by his shoulder and took him to Carvalho, who was one meter from them. Between jokes, Cristiano joined them in an embrace. Joining them Marcelo and Coentrao witnessed the scene. The Brazilian applauded smiling the reconciliation of their peers.

After the embrace and laughs, Pepe and Carvalho continued talking together and removed the last problems as they walked towards the pitch. They talked until they started to work. Then, with peace, Pepe stood by Cristiano and Coentrao, while Carvalho began to train with Kaka.

The situation was different from that experienced in training on Tuesday, where Portuguese defenders were not crossed a look. The problem was within the team when Carvalho noted to his companion as the cause for leaving Portugal national team: "I left the national team due to an injustice. Pepe, without training, would play as starter". Seven days later everything is back to normal.

In an interview with UEFA, CR7 explains that the white set is the best team and that is why aroused so much hostility: "Real Madrid is the best club in the world and there is a lot of envy", he says.

Cristiano Ronaldo: A Real Madrid's recordman

Cristiano Ronaldo, with the devastating pace with which ended last season and has started this one, is poised to make history at a club with almost 110 years of life. With his hat-trick at La Romareda, has achieved 90 official goals dressed with the Real Madrid jersey. One statistic that becomes more important if we consider that he has scored all those goals in just 92 games. So, he has averaged nearly a goal per game played.

Cristiano Ronaldo: A Real Madrid's recordman

In the case of the Spanish League is even more spectacular, because has scored 69 goals in 64 games (1.07 average). Some numbers reached in just two years at the Bernabeu (arrived in July 2009), making it clear that going to destroy all records that he will propose. He scored 33 goals in his first year and 53 in the past (Destroyed the Spanish League record of Zarra and Hugo Sanchez, and Golden Boot to the pot). This season the '7' has just started scoring four goals.

The fact is that the Portuguese start has earned a place among the top 20 scorers in the history of the club. With his tremendous hat-trick of Zaragoza, he left behind Pruden (Striker from 1943 to 1948) and he is 19th. With his usual pace scorer, is more than possible to finish the season overtaking the record of the legendary Juanito (121 goals), Pahíño (124), Hierro (127) and Michel (130). To achieve the latter ( Michel closes the Top-10), Cristiano should get 40 goals more, which is not beyond his reach after the 53 achieved in the 2010-11 season.

But before reaching such heights, there is a moment that will raise the curiosity to unimaginable limits. If he scores 14 more goals, Cristiano will reach Ronaldo Nazario. Ronaldo & Ronaldo. The number: 104 goals. But the Portuguese will achieve this number in approximately half the time. The average is only good for the loved Ronaldo Nazario, who 'only' scored 0.57 per game, almost halfway that the Cristiano's pace. Therefore, he cost 96 million euros.
